We are working with a world-class organisation specialising in the distribution of heating solutions. They are investing significantly in their growth and are seeking a Managing Director. The main responsibilities include developing and executing a strategic sales roadmap, targeting market penetration and growth, working closely with customers and suppliers, and managing full P&L to meet corporate objectives.

Key responsibilities:
  • Set strategic direction with the board and implement long-term business plans.
  • Manage growth through targeted sales strategies, including cross-selling and up-selling.
  • Engage with customers to understand market trends and develop effective partnerships.
  • Collaborate with the parent company and sales team to develop new business and market penetration strategies.
  • Establish KPIs and monitor performance, implementing improvements as needed.
  • Provide technical guidance to strategic customers regarding product applications.
  • Manage all P&L accounts and oversee daily administrative operations, reporting to the Group CEO.
Ideal candidate:
  • Degree qualification with an Engineering bias.
  • Proven track record in identifying new markets, products, and sales opportunities.
  • Expertise in business development, strategic planning, and achieving sales targets.
  • Experience managing technical distributors, P&L, budgets, forecasts, and team development.
  • Ability to identify new customers and expand service offerings via sales channels.
  • Experience with high-quality, engineering-focused customer bases and technical discussions.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to set and achieve realistic targets.
