Managing Director – Property Management

Working for a National Managing Agent, we are looking for a hands-on Managing Director to lead their operations.

You will oversee a national portfolio of over 43,000 units and a team of around 40.

You’ll be responsible for driving revenue, operational efficiency, compliance, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and align eight departments (Property, Asset Management, Legal, Credit Control, Insurance, Sales, Tech & Data, Subletting) to business goals.
  • Drive income generation and operational strategy while maintaining a strong grip on compliance and risk.
  • Work closely with line managers to ensure departmental effectiveness and performance.
  • Oversee financial agreements, litigation, reporting, and business intelligence.
  • Champion tech adoption and continuous process improvement.
  • Inspire and develop a high-performing team, managing recruitment, performance, and staff engagement.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven leadership in residential property/block management.
  • MTPI, RICS, or relevant qualifications preferred.
  • 5+ years managing multifunctional teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen, compliance knowledge, and communication skills.
