Managing Director - Electric Vehicle Sector

Location: Cambridgeshire (Flexible)

Salary: circa 150,000 - 200,000 per annum + Excellent Benefits Package + Potential Equity

Our client is a high-growth and private equity owned business which specialises in providing solutions for the ever-expanding Electric Vehicle (EV) sector in both the UK and throughout Europe.

Following a further round of private equity investment in the business, the owners are now seeking to recruit a talented and experienced Managing Director to drive forward, particularly into new markets and also by expanding their service offering.

This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the growth and evolution of a company that is positioned at the forefront of the electric vehicle industry in the UK

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee global sales operations and manage the company's Profit & Loss (P&L).

- Provide guidance to the senior leadership team in achieving successful sales and commercial initiatives.

- Work closely with the company owners and management team to implement strategic sales policies and sales processes.

- Drive revenue growth and lead expansion into new international markets, particularly throughout Europe.

- Identify and capitalise on opportunities within the Electric Vehicle sector, including working with vehicle designers and major automotive OEMs.

- Lead contract negotiations and ensure the successful delivery of projects.

- Establish and monitor business KPIs to meet annual targets and support ongoing investment.

- Maintain cash flow and implement disciplined processes for timely project delivery.

Qualifications:

- Demonstrated senior leadership experience in technology, energy, automotive, or related fields.

- Strong expertise in business infrastructure, product development, design, and manufacturing processes.

- Exceptional leadership and negotiation skills with a proven track record of sales growth.

- Outstanding project management capabilities.
