At Logiq, I love being part of a team that thrives on exciting, fast-paced projects in complex environments. We focus on delivering real value rather than getting bogged down by unnecessary processes. The collaborative culture encourages initiative and empowers me to make impactful decisions, with support always available when I need it. I also feel supported in my project work and career development, with plenty of opportunities to enhance my skills and take on new challenges. Logiq's investment in its people ensures I have both the tools and encouragement to achieve my goals.

As someone with a challenging home life, including children with additional needs, the hybrid working model has been invaluable. Logiq treats me as a professional, trusting me to manage my work, projects, and outputs while balancing my family commitments. The flexibility to adapt my schedule for school runs and care needs, combined with a supportive team and rewarding work, makes this a truly unique place to grow and succeed.

The Role:

As a Managing Cyber Security Auditor, you will provide senior technical leadership, governance and assurance across cyber security audit engagements, with a particular focus on the Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF). You will ensure that audits and assessments are proportionate, evidence-based and aligned with client objectives, risk appetite, applicable standards and regulatory requirements.

You will act as a trusted adviser to clients and delivery teams, providing constructive challenge, resolving complex assurance issues and maintaining the quality and consistency of key deliverables. This will include planning and leading audits, evaluating the design and effectiveness of security controls, assessing evidence, and producing clear findings and recommendations that support informed risk-based decisions.

Alongside leading your own engagements, you will oversee and support the work of other consultants, establishing appropriate audit approaches, governance arrangements and quality expectations. You will provide technical direction, conduct peer reviews and help teams manage dependencies, assumptions, risks and areas of professional judgement throughout the audit lifecycle.

You will be confident operating with senior technical and non-technical stakeholders, chairing workshops and governance forums, communicating complex issues clearly and supporting agreement on proportionate remediation. You will build trusted client relationships, identify opportunities to provide further value and contribute to bids, propositions and the continued development of Logiq's cyber security audit capability.

Your experience will include:

  • Leading complex cyber security audit and assurance engagements across systems, programmes, transformation initiatives and client environments.
  • Establishing proportionate audit methodologies, engagement approaches, governance arrangements and quality standards.
  • Providing technical oversight and quality assurance to ensure audits remain objective, consistent and aligned with agreed criteria, standards and methodologies.
  • Reviewing and approving audit plans, evidence assessments, findings, reports and other key deliverables.
  • Assessing the design and operating effectiveness of cyber security controls against the NCSC Cyber Assessment Framework and other recognised standards.
  • Applying professional judgement to prioritise areas of investigation, evaluate the sufficiency of evidence and develop proportionate, actionable findings.
  • Managing engagement risks, assumptions, dependencies and constraints, escalating material concerns where appropriate.
  • Producing clear, evidence-based reports and recommendations for senior technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Leading, coaching and providing peer review to auditors, consultants and multidisciplinary delivery teams.
  • Engaging with senior stakeholders, governance boards and assurance bodies to communicate findings and support informed decision-making.
  • Applying recognised audit and security frameworks, including the NCSC Cyber Assessment Framework, ISO 19011, ISO 27007, the ISO 27000 series and relevant NIST frameworks.
  • Supporting business growth through trusted client relationships, opportunity shaping, proposition development, bids and pre-sales activity.
What We're Looking for
  • Chartered Cyber Security Professional in the Audit and Assurance Specialism through the UK Cyber Security Council.
  • Demonstrable experience leading cyber security audits, assurance engagements and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communicate complex audit findings clearly to senior technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Hold at least one industry-recognised cyber security or audit certification, such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
  • Full Membership or Fellowship of the Chartered Institute of Information Security.
  • Lead Auditor qualification in ISO/IEC 27001 or another relevant management system standard.
  • Experience assessing organisations against the NCSC Cyber Assessment Framework.
  • Experience working within government, defence, critical national infrastructure, regulated or other high-assurance environments.
