Job description

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our fast-growing Consulting Business working with some of the world’s leading financial institutions.

As a Managing Consultant, the successful candidate will work directly with our clients to ensure they receive the quality consulting services that Delta Capita (DC) offers. You will be the primary point of contact between the customer and DC as part of our Global Consulting team based in London. You will have deep change management experience and prior success as a management consultant or within a change role in a financial services institution.


The Role and Responsibilities

This role is ideal for someone with the right mix of consulting and client management experience as well as having an entrepreneurial spirit. You will combine project delivery know-how, knowledge of the fintech ecosystem, an innovative nature, and a strong knowledge of and network within the financial services industry.

Project responsibilities include:

  1. Project delivery for clients
  2. Regulatory remediation and enforcement response
  3. Regulatory compliance across the whole project lifecycle
  4. Cost transformation
  5. Legal Entity re-structure
  6. Operating model re-design and execution
  7. Operational resilience assessment and remediation

As an experienced Managing Consultant, you will have:

  1. Proven Consulting experience within Financial Services.
  2. Change management experience: Strategy, Design, Analysis, Project Management, Build Testing, Go-Live.
  3. Understanding of Financial Services products and lifecycle events.
  4. Some experience managing projects and team members supporting successful project/programme deliveries.
  5. Good knowledge of the capital markets ecosystem and participants (e.g., sell side, buy side, market infrastructure).
  6. You will come from a management consultant background, within a change role. You must have a blend of both Financial Services knowledge and soft skills across influence, listening, presentation, and team management.
  7. As an experienced Consultant, you will be expected to be comfortable working on an independent basis and managing your own workload with minimal supervision.
  8. You will also be responsible for helping to grow our business by supporting ongoing operations, RFPs, and helping to manage junior consultants.

It would be great if you had knowledge of any of the following:

  1. Regulatory exposure in any of the following: MiFID II / MiFIR, Basel, IBOR, FRTB, CRD & CRR, SFTR, Operational Resilience.
  2. Experience in Capital Management, Operations, Middle Office, Operational Risk, Liquidity Management.
  3. Experience in / understanding of Client Lifecycle Management and the processes that underpin it: Client onboarding, Client Due Diligence, KYC, AML, Financial Crime Compliance.

Expectations regarding hybrid working: As we are a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy for physically working from the office aligns with our clients' policies and expectations, which may vary. Most of our clients now require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office and 2 days from home, which is also the minimum expectation that Delta Capita requires.
