Role Overview

As a seasoned Allegro Consultant, you will lead client engagements, drive solution architecture, and manage teams to deliver impactful Allegro ETRM implementations, combining technical expertise with leadership and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage Allegro project implementations and upgrades.
  • Act as the senior technical architect for Allegro solution design, customization, and integration.
  • Oversee and mentor a team of consultants and developers, enforcing best practices.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, define roadmaps, and ensure alignment of solutions with business goals.
  • Manage solution delivery from planning to go-live and post-implementation support.
  • Troubleshoot complex Allegro system issues and optimize performance.
  • Maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and identifying new opportunities.
  • Contribute to pre-sales activities including proposals and technical presentations.
Required Experience
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 7 years hands-on experience with Allegro (Horizon or Allegro 8), including 5 years in a senior or lead technical role.
  • Proven track record in technical consultancy, preferably within a recognized consulting firm.
  • Expertise in .NET (C#), SQL, and Allegro's extension environment (e.g., Class Events).
  • Deep understanding of trade lifecycle management, risk management, and front-to-back ETRM processes.
  • Experience integrating Allegro with upstream/downstream systems (e.g., SAP, market data feeds).
  • Strong SQL skills and data modeling knowledge.
  • Leadership experience managing technical teams and delivering complex projects.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required.
Preferred Experience
  • Over 7 years as a subject matter expert or technical consultant in commodity trading, risk, and logistics in large enterprise environments.
  • Technical understanding of power, gas, coal, and emissions/renewables trading.
  • Ability to work in cross-cultural teams and support multiple time zones.
