Your Role

As an AI Regulation & Governance Consultant, you will lead our trusted AI initiatives, leveraging a strong background in data, artificial intelligence, regulation, and compliance. You will drive the development and implementation of AI frameworks emphasizing safety, transparency, fairness, robustness, and ethics. This leadership role involves strategic guidance, stakeholder collaboration, and establishing best practices for AI governance within the organization.

You will manage key responsibilities in:

  1. Developing frameworks and business processes for governing AI ethically and safely.
  2. Establishing governance throughout the AI development lifecycle from concept to deployment.
  3. Developing technical assurance methods to ensure AI solutions comply with industry and government regulations, including familiarity with global AI regulatory frameworks such as GDPR and AI Act in EU.
  4. Engaging with stakeholders, including government agencies, regulatory bodies, and industry groups.
  5. Representing the company in discussions on AI ethics and responsible AI commitments.
  6. Contributing to the development of assets and propositions related to AI regulation and governance.
  7. Upskilling internal teams on the latest developments in AI regulation and governance.

Additionally, you will have opportunities to contribute to business development activities, internal initiatives, and personal growth through activities such as proposal writing, thought leadership, and training.

We seek candidates with consulting experience in sectors including Transport, Energy, Utilities, Government, Defence, Consumer Products & Retail, Healthcare, Life Sciences, and Financial Services.

Your Profile

  • Current experience in a major consulting firm or industry with a consulting background. Proven success in a matrixed organization, supporting sales and delivery of consulting solutions.
  • Experience in proposition development and delivery.
  • Leadership in AI regulation and governance, demonstrated through roles in industry, government, or professional services.
  • Technical expertise in AI strategy, data governance, and machine learning, with ability to produce technical documentation.
  • Strategic guidance skills for advising senior leaders on AI governance.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with government, industry, and internal teams.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate complex AI and regulatory concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on AI governance advancements.
