Job summary

Mishcon de Reya LLP is seeking a Managing Associate (6+ PQE) to join their Reputation Protection team in London. The role involves advising high-profile clients on media and communication law, including defamation, privacy, harassment, and data protection, often in high-pressure crisis scenarios.

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of six years PQE, be trained and qualified at a leading law firm, and possess proven experience in media litigation, reputation protection, or commercial litigation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years PQE.

Responsibilities

• Managing pre-action engagement, litigation, and emergency injunction applications.
• Media crisis management and responding to urgent media enquiries.
• Preparing and submitting complaints to regulators (IPSO, Ofcom, ASA, ICO).
• Supervising junior fee earners and contributing to business development.
• Providing out-of-hours/weekend support as part of an on-call rota.
