Purpose of The Role
The continued success of the team has led to an increase in the number and value of key mandates. We are looking to recruit a Construction lawyer to join our Leeds team specialising in contentious construction matters. This includes acting for Developers, Lenders, Landlords, Tenants, PPPs, and Public Sector Bodies across a range of JCT, NEC, and other standard form contracts, as well as bespoke terms.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to handle high-caliber work, develop client relationships, and contribute to the expansion of the team and practice.
The team is high-performing, cohesive, and busy, with a strong client list and pipeline. Legal Directors are encouraged to lead client relationships and supervise the team, fostering the development of client networks and management skills.
Our Construction and Engineering team comprises over 100 specialist lawyers, including 26 Partners, providing comprehensive legal solutions across the construction industry.
Our Leeds team includes 6 partners and over 30 fee earners. Recognized for their expertise, the team remains Tier 1 ranked in both Legal 500 and Chambers.
The team advises on all aspects of Construction Law across sectors such as buildings, civil engineering, energy, infrastructure, and utilities, in both private and public sectors. They also support other practice areas like Real Estate, Banking, and Projects.
