Job description

Managing Agent Property Manager needed in Greater London, £21.92ph
PAYE – Reference: OR8200

Support colleagues across the organisation to understand their relationships with superior landlords and/or their agents, working with these parties to protect the client and its residents. Address concerns related to health and safety or other responsibilities by intervening as needed.

  • Ensure adherence to obligations under the lease and address any issues. Support the Senior Property Manager in maintaining the database capturing all relevant information for blocks/estates with superior landlords and their agents.
  • Assist in completing the Block Attributes Matrix (BAM).
  • Collect compliance records, including those for Building Safety Measures, from superior landlords and/or their agents.
  • Review service charges levied by landlords and agents to ensure compliance with the lease and Landlord and Tenant Act rules. Challenge reasonableness and value for money as appropriate, and assist with First Tier Tribunal cases.
  • Coordinate s20 consultation notices for works/services with landlords/agents and ensure residents are informed and can make observations or challenges.
  • Lead or assist projects to improve team and department operations. Support other teams to meet objectives as required.
  • Help prepare management reports, performance indicators, and information for senior staff, external bodies, COG, the Executive team, and the Board.
  • Identify and manage risks, ensuring value for money in services provided.
  • Handle inquiries and complaints professionally, promoting high customer satisfaction and learning from feedback to improve practices.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships internally and externally, safeguarding organisational interests.
  • Maintain accurate and accessible records, including the use of computer systems and databases.
  • Champion resident focus, ensuring teams prioritize residents' interests.
  • Deputise as required.

This is a full-time role on a temporary basis.
