Role: Managerial level - Financial Accountant (10+ years PQE)

Location: Manchester - Hybrid

Are you an accountant looking for a new contract?

I am working with a huge technology business who are looking highly experienced Financial Accountant (10+ years PQE) with a strong technical accounting background to support their finance team on a 3 month contract.

The role is ideally suited to Financial Accountants who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and ideally has experience working in or with e-commerce businesses or Technology Business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical accounting processes, ensuring compliance with IFRS and UK GAAP
• Prepare and review financial statements and ensure accuracy across consolidated accounts
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Manage complex accounting matters related to multiple entities and a broad portfolio of products
• Advise on accounting treatments for new commercial initiatives or acquisitions
• Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met
• Contribute to process improvement and documentation of accounting policies
• ACCA Qualified
• 10 years industry experience post qualification
