Job Description

Manager, Treasury Systems at Checkout.com:

This role will sit in the Finance Transformation Team, reporting to the Senior Manager, Treasury Systems. The purpose of this team is to enable the Finance Team to deliver on Checkout.com's objectives through system implementations, process re-engineering (covering controls and risk management) and operating model design. As part of this team, you will be focused on working with the Treasury Team to deploy enhancements to our Treasury Management System ("TMS"), Kyriba, along with identifying and implementing process improvements and ensuring a strong and robust control framework. The Finance Transformation Team is progressing a programme of work that will transform our back office finance and treasury systems. You will play a key role in the treasury aspects of this programme through project managing workstreams and challenging the new and existing process designs.

What you will be doing:

• Working on ongoing enhancements of our Treasury Management System ("TMS"), Kyriba.
• Collaborating with the Treasury team to identify and implement system and process improvements.
• Designing and implementing enhancements to in-house finance and treasury systems to support and enable Checkout.com's growth.
• Supporting the Senior Manager, Treasury Systems in driving key projects and initiatives.
• Creating project artefacts, project plans, RAID logs, RACIs, and reporting on progress to governance forums.
• Challenging existing processes and working with the Treasury team to implement best practices, automation, and enhanced reporting.
• Ensuring a robust control framework, especially concerning IT General Controls related to system change management.

Qualifications

• Experience in finance transformation projects/programmes involving system implementation and process re-engineering.
• Proven project management skills, including developing project plans, RAID logs, RACIs, and executing across functions.
• Understanding of ITGCs, system change, and access controls, with evidence of monitoring their effectiveness.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills, especially regarding treasury processes and their business impacts.
• Ability to define strategic banking requirements related to merchant, funding, and operational payments, with experience in ISO20022 formats.
• Solid knowledge of systems, banking, and integration approaches.
• Excellent communication skills to engage senior stakeholders and team members, identify issues, and propose solutions.
• Problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and proposing tactical and strategic solutions.
• Process mapping, risk, and control outlining skills.
• Ability to translate technical expertise into practical solutions and process guidance.
• Experience in data analysis, manipulation, and reporting.
• Good working knowledge of Treasury Management Systems, such as Kyriba.
• Self-starter with critical thinking and proven problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding and appreciation of key system controls.
