The Responsibilities / Job Description
This role involves working on a variety of projects. The work includes:
- Providing technical transfer pricing advice to our National Markets clients on a broad range of topics.
- Developing and maintaining client relationships, acting as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
- Managing multiple projects across jurisdictions and leading daily delivery processes.
- Coordinating with KPMG's transfer pricing, international tax, indirect tax, and advisory teams on various topics.
- Financial management, including developing project budgets and billing to ensure profitability.
- Coaching and developing junior team members, including delivering training and on-the-job coaching.
- Ensuring timely reporting to senior management.
- Contributing to business development, marketing initiatives, and market proposition efforts.
The Person
We seek candidates with the following skills and experience:
- CTA, CA, ACA, ACCA, or a Bachelor's/Master's degree in economics, finance, law, accounting, or an equivalent qualification.
- Extensive transfer pricing experience, including preparing documentation, tax value chain analyses, benchmarking, supporting tax authority inquiries, project management, and mentoring juniors.
- Sound judgment to identify and evaluate risks and know when to involve others.
- Strong analytical skills with a commercial approach to problem-solving and advising.
- High motivation, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
- Strong commercial awareness.
- Willingness to stay technically current and develop team capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Understanding of ethical and risk issues in a client service environment.
- Excellent people skills for engaging clients and team members.
