The Technology in M&A team at KPMG is a fast-growing and profitable part of Deal Advisory. We handle all aspects of technology from strategy, digital, apps, infrastructure, cloud, operating models, data, cyber, RPA, to post-deal implementation & enhancements, and reviewing technology spend.

KPMG is a leading global consultancy, supporting the UK through various economic and political changes. Our Technology in M&A team provides support for acquirers and vendors on pre- and post-deal technology issues, including buy-side and sell-side diligence, separations, integrations, IPOs, JVs, and standing up businesses.

What will you be doing?

Your workload will include due diligence and integration & separation advisory work.

• Contributing to and reviewing technology-related deal reports, providing insights on technology impacts on business strategy, operations, and deal valuation.
• Advising on technology aspects of integrations, separations, and optimization initiatives, including developing target operating models, understanding current IT landscapes, defining transitional service agreements, and supporting implementation.

What will you need to do it?

• Hands-on experience with technology/IT in an M&A environment, focusing on areas like IT strategy, applications, ERP, infrastructure, data, cloud, architecture, cyber security.
• Experience leading teams on M&A engagements and facilitating client meetings, workshops, and interviews.
