About the Role:

As the Manager of Talent Management for HARMAN’s Lifestyle Division, you will serve as a strategic partner in strengthening our talent and leadership pipeline. Your focus will be on talent identification, development, and succession planning to ensure we have the right people in the right roles to drive business success.

In this role, you will lead the coordination and implementation of key phases of the people cycle, including annual performance reviews, goal setting, and development planning. You will also manage division-specific talent initiatives and communication strategies that align with our global talent agenda.

Additionally, you will oversee the end-to-end program management of talent development initiatives—from design through execution. These programs are designed to build individual capabilities and organizational strength in support of the division’s strategic goals.

You will report to the Director of Global Talent Management, Lifestyle Division.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop and implement innovative global talent development programs, communications and training initiatives aligned with Lifestyle’s overarching business strategy.
  • Design and lead High Potential Development Programs in alignment with global HARMAN-wide talent initiatives, fostering leadership growth and succession planning.
  • Drive and manage core HARMAN people processes for the Lifestyle Division including Onboarding/Offboarding, Goal Setting and Annual Performance Reviews ensuring consistency, integration and continuous improvement across the division.
  • Facilitate global trainings, workshops and meetings focused on Talent Management topics with a strong emphasis on HARMAN’s people cycle processes.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to business leaders, providing insights and guidance on talent development and organizational effectiveness.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of talent programs and processes, leveraging data and feedback to drive enhancements and innovation.

What You Need to Be Successful:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development or other HR related disciplines.
  • At least 4 years of progressive HR experience, including people roles like: Talent Management, Organizational Development, HR Generalist, or Staffing—preferably within a global, matrixed organization in the engineering or technology sector.
  • Proven ability to design, implement, and manage talent development programs that align with business strategy and drive measurable impact.
  • Strong passion for working with people and leading Talent Management initiatives that enhance leadership pipelines and organizational capability.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and globally matrixed environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to diverse audiences and senior leadership.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset and the ability to build relationships across cultures and organizational levels.
  • High attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, delivering high-quality outcomes on time.
  • Intercultural awareness and sensitivity, with experience working across global teams and geographies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint and Excel), with working knowledge of Workday and experience preparing executive-level presentations.

Bonus Points if You Have :

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications in 360° feedback tools, team dynamics, or personality assessments (e.g., MBTI, Hogan, DiSC).
  • Certification in Organizational Development or professional coaching, demonstrating a strong foundation in facilitating individual and team growth.
