Against this backdrop, Deloitte’s Credit Risk Management practice assists clients in streamlining and transforming their end-to-end Credit Risk Operating Model, including key credit risk processes. A particular focus for the team is supporting clients with enhancing their stress testing and scenario analysis. The team is further strengthened by having a close network within Risk, Regulation, and Analytics and is widely regarded as market leading.

In response to the growing demand for the team’s services, we are looking for a Manager to join, working on stress testing engagements at various clients and supporting initiatives to grow our business.

The successful candidate will work closely with the leadership of the Credit Risk Advisory practice. Responsibilities include:

  1. Supporting end-to-end reviews of stress testing processes to identify improvements and recommend innovative solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs;
  2. Reviewing various aspects of banks’ stress testing processes such as scenario design, model execution, results analysis, documentation, and frameworks;
  3. Supporting clients in delivering stress testing components, including scenario design, model execution, results analysis, project management, and documentation across regulatory and internal stress testing use cases;
  4. Assisting in designing stress testing frameworks and processes;
  5. Advising on climate scenario analysis and integrating climate risks into stress testing programs;
  6. Ensuring stress testing is effectively integrated into risk management to maximize benefits;
  7. Supporting the development and implementation of stress testing tools;
  8. Taking on additional duties as appropriate and working effectively within diverse, inclusive teams.

Qualifications include:

  • A passion for stress testing and a desire to be part of the team;
  • Experience in a banking or consulting environment covering at least two of: scenario design, stress testing execution, or reporting;
  • Knowledge of regulatory stress testing requirements and use cases;
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency with PowerPoint, Word, and Excel;
  • Business analysis skills in requirements and process design;
  • Work ethic and commitment to excellence;
  • Teamwork, professionalism, and interpersonal skills;
  • Proactivity, collaboration, independence;
  • Project and people management experience;
  • Experience or knowledge in climate risk stress testing, economics/finance, and coding languages such as Python.
