What will you be doing?

  • Build strong, trusted advisor relationships with client counterparts, including as the day-to-day / key client contact on engagements
  • Take day-to-day responsibility for small projects and manage significant elements of large engagements
  • Demonstrate expertise and an ability to generate insights in the consumer, retail and/or leisure sectors
  • Co-ordinate the preparation of deliverables that span multiple workstreams, including the answers and challenges to the likely questions and responses of the client
  • Contribute to thought leadership and knowledge management activities

What will you need to do it?

  • experience working in a leading strategy house, Big 4 firm, public sector organisation or strategy / development / transformation team in industry
  • Strong understanding of the value drivers in one or more of the Consumer Goods, Retail and Leisure sectors
  • Ability to manage small / medium sized teams or significant parts of complex projects or programmes within the sector
  • Experience of developing and preparing business development pitches in the sector
  • Demonstrable experience of managing project teams and taking responsibility for end-to-end delivery
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively, influence and challenge senior people (client and internal) whilst working on a project or business development initiative
