Manager, SME Debit Product Management - Overview

The Global SME Core Product team is looking for a Manager, SME Debit Product Management to help drive our growth in the segment through solution innovation, value proposition design and enhancements, and product line strategy optimization. The ideal candidate is passionate about the SME segment, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset.

Role

In this product management position, you will:

  1. Own, evolve, and execute the Global SME debit strategy to capture incremental segment share and drive growth in SME debit programs
  2. Analyze market trends, competition, and best practices to inform product and go-to-market strategies, driving product differentiation and innovation
  3. Partner with regional SME product teams to identify opportunities, build sales pipelines, and support execution of key initiatives
  4. Explore new solutions, benefits, and partnerships to develop and drive specific use cases and deliver a best-in-class business debit value proposition
  5. Support development of sales materials, thought leadership, case studies, and other sales enablement tools to facilitate customer opportunities and ensure sales readiness
  6. Present product strategy and updates to various stakeholder groups, including senior leadership and sales force
  7. Collaborate with colleagues from the broader Global SME team on strategic initiatives to deliver SME business goals and objectives

All About You

The ideal candidate for this position should:

  1. Have proven experience in financial services and/or payments with an understanding of competitive offerings, industry trends, and profitability drivers. SME segment experience within banking/FinTech or payments is a plus
  2. Have relevant product experience, including devising product strategy, developing customer value propositions, and building go-to-market product roadmaps. A background in product strategy/management/marketing, consulting, or similar is preferred
  3. Have demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams that are globally and regionally dispersed (i.e., product marketing, sales, business development, legal, finance)
  4. Be self-motivated, a self-starter, and a quick learner with the ability to work independently and manage different priorities; thrive in a fast-paced environment; readiness to take on stretch goals
  5. Be a strong, confident, and exacting writer and speaker, able to communicate your vision and roadmap effectively and simplify complex ideas into easy-to-understand concepts
  6. Be a proficient user of Microsoft applications including PowerPoint and Excel
  7. Experience in debit card programs is not required but highly desirable
