How You'll Help Us Connect the World
You will lead a sales team responsible for selling customized assemblies tailored to client needs. Success in this role requires experience in selling fiber and copper cable assemblies and demonstrated leadership of a high-performing sales team. Reporting to the VP of North America Datacenter Sales, you will develop, lead, and execute the organization's strategic account plan, manage forecast processes, and collaborate across CommScope’s lines of business to align offerings.
This individual will prepare and deliver executive updates to business leaders and the executive team. You will work closely with account leaders to develop and maintain executive relationships with key accounts.
As a manager of sales and technical professionals, you will provide leadership and mentorship, fostering career development. Your engagement skills and ability to maintain executive relationships will drive cross-functional alignment with business units, operations, and corporate functions.
- Define a sales strategy to position CEX as a distinct entity in the market and as a quick-turn enabler for CommScope.
- Implement sales processes, KPIs, and compensation schemes.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to refine strategies.
- Manage all customer product portfolios, including roadmaps, specifications, costs, and pricing.
- Collaborate with the account team to develop business strategies and support technical decisions aligned with business goals.
- Work with multiple business units to gather support for product development, ensuring positive business outcomes.
Required Qualifications:
- At least three years of customer-facing telecommunications experience, preferably with fiber and cable assemblies.
- Experience in product portfolio management.
- Ability to travel up to 60%.
- Experience planning and executing product certification testing with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong leadership skills to motivate teams toward achieving strategic goals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business tools.
Our salary range considers various factors, including benchmarking, experience, education, and location. The expected range for this position (base plus SIP) is $138,000 to $207,000. Candidates with exceptional experience may be considered for higher compensation.
