An established industry player is seeking a Manager for Regulatory Practice to lead the development and implementation of innovative regulatory frameworks. The Manager, Regulatory Practice is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a capability framework to support the Earth Resources Regulator (ERR) in delivering a risk-based regulatory approach under a duties-based legislative model. The Manager leads the regulatory practice workforce capability team to develop and deliver programs, training, and employee development initiatives to embed and continuously improve risk-based regulatory practices across the lifecycle of ERR's functions. This role guides the application of modern regulatory thinking and practices across ERR's statutory functions.
This position offers a unique opportunity to enhance the regulator's and industry's capabilities in managing Victoria's earth resources sector, particularly during a period of significant growth and transition to a duties-based regulatory model. You will be at the forefront of developing and implementing innovative regulatory practices that ensure earth resources activities are conducted safely, protecting people, property, infrastructure, and the environment.
