We are looking for an experienced Manager to join our fast-growing Real Estate Corporate Tax Team to provide support by managing the corporate tax real estate affairs of our expanding portfolio of real estate clients, particularly Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs).
The role
To assist with the delivery of tax advisory and compliance services for a diverse range of clients across the real estate sector. The work will vary, reflecting the client base of property businesses primarily in London and throughout the UK.
Key responsibilities include tax compliance and advisory work for UK REITs, such as preparing and reviewing REIT Financial Statements, Corporate Interest Restriction and Property Income Distributions (PID) calculations, and managing PID trackers. Tax planning will also be a significant aspect, covering group tax planning, property planning, capital allowances, R&D tax credits, and s455 tax planning.
You will support senior team members with transactional work, preparing reports for tax structuring and due diligence, and coordinating with specialist teams. Managing junior team members through delegation and coaching, working with the senior team to manage client accounts, and developing new business opportunities are also expected.

The Real Estate Corporate Tax team comprises 2 Partners, Senior Managers, Managers, and trainees. The team serves a broad client base and is expanding both in London and nationally.
You
The ideal candidate will be proactive, confident, professional, and commercially minded, with the ability to establish credibility at all levels. They should possess recent practical experience managing a real estate corporate tax portfolio, advising REITs and property businesses, and have up-to-date knowledge of relevant tax issues. Technical expertise is important, but a team-oriented, flexible personality, problem-solving skills, and initiative are equally valued. The candidate should understand both company structures and ownership perspectives.
Applicants should preferably be CTA and/or ACA qualified.
