Manager, R&D Procurement – Site & Patient Connectivity

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Procurement Manager to join our team on a full-time permanent basis, supporting the R&D Procurement team.

This role is responsible for end-to-end category management, including sourcing and contract management within assigned categories, focusing on Digital Health Technology categories such as eCOA, eConsent, Sensors, and Wearables.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement comprehensive category strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
2. Identify and evaluate opportunities for cost savings, innovation, and value creation.
3. Lead negotiations for contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers.
4. Manage the lifecycle of contracts, including renewals and amendments.
5. Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
6. Collaborate with suppliers to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
7. Conduct market analysis to stay informed on industry trends.
8. Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, understanding their needs and providing procurement solutions.
9. Facilitate communication between procurement and business units for successful strategy execution.

Basic Qualifications

• University Degree in Procurement, Business, Finance, or relevant scientific discipline.
• Strong understanding of Global Procurement or similar function.
• Experience in developing and executing category strategies.
• Experience in project planning, contract execution, and negotiations.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Stakeholder management and business partnering experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects effectively.
