(Hyrbrid 4 days office / 1 day home after probationary period)

About the Role
As Manager, you’ll lead a small team of junior and senior accountants, oversee a varied client portfolio, and collaborate closely with senior leadership on everything from compliance reviews to high-level tax planning. You'll be the go-to for clients and a trusted mentor for your team — all while helping shape the firm’s continued growth.


Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Managing a diverse client portfolio across business, property, charity, and international sectors
  • Reviewing and finalising accounts and tax computations
  • Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of 5–7 accountants
  • Supporting complex tax planning projects and specialist advisory work
  • Meeting new clients and preparing tailored engagement proposals
  • Improving processes, promoting best practices, and staying current with regulatory changes

What We’re Looking For

  • ACA/ACCA qualified with significant experience in public practice
  • Strong technical knowledge across corporate and personal tax
  • A natural leader with proven experience managing and developing staff
  • Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills
  • Detail-oriented with high standards when reviewing work
  • Familiarity with systems such as Xero, VT+, IRIS, and Sage
