We are looking for a motivated Customer Warranty Program Manager to join our Customer Warranty Management (CWM) Department. The position reports to the Manager, CWM Department.

Key Objectives

The new Customer Warranty Management (CWM) Department oversees TPI Composite blade products quality at customer sites (wind farms) within the warranty period. As our Customer Warranty Program Manager, you will be an excellent communicator, a people leader, and a recognized technical expert in composites engineering, manufacturing, and problem solving, with direct knowledge of wind blades. You will manage key customer communications related to warranty projects, drive continuous improvement in warranty management, and enhance customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will be responsible for internal technical decisions and leading technical discussions with customers, balancing TPI's interests and customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities
  • Act as a Customer Key Account Manager, overseeing technical management of all quality risks and warranty claims from your customer.
  • Represent the voice of the customer to the CWM Problem Solving team and other internal stakeholders (Quality, Commercial, Technical, Finance, Legal).
  • Manage activities post-delivery (CoC) affecting your customer account, strategy, and forecast.
  • Track and forecast warranty costs, seeking ways to minimize external costs of poor quality.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through effective warranty case resolution.
  • Lead customer warranty communications, working closely with the Commercial Program Manager for settlements.
  • Facilitate internal problem solving, balancing financial risks and customer relations, and escalate when necessary.
  • Drive strategic decisions with Commercial, Finance, and Legal teams, such as warranty contract improvements or goodwill gestures.
  • Prioritize projects, manage risks, and report to leadership on technical issues and high-risk situations.
  • Support the Field Service division in cost prediction and financial reporting related to warranties.
  • Participate in technical reviews and ensure consistency and compliance across warranty projects.
  • Review and approve key technical communications, such as RCA reports and remedy proposals.
Qualifications & Experience
  • B.S. in Engineering required; MSc, MBA, or PhD preferred.
  • At least 15 years industry experience, with 10+ years in wind blade composites and customer-facing roles preferred.
  • Project management experience; PMP certification preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma yellow belt certification; black belt preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and excellent presentation abilities.
  • Strong quality focus, attention to detail, and ability to work with vendors and clients.
  • Experience leading high-performance teams and maintaining safety standards.
  • Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
