We are currently seeking applicants for a Manager Product Engineer Automotive. You will oversee all phases of product engineering, new product development, and production support for our Automotive MOSFET product line.

Location: Ideally near one of Vishay's offices in Newport, UK, Taipei, Taiwan, or Binan, Philippines.

What You Will Be Doing

• Managing technical aspects of new and established products within the Automotive MOSFET Division, reporting to the Head of Auto Product Engineering.
• Leading new product introductions from definition and development through characterization, qualification, and release, coordinating with Market Development, R&D, Packaging, Device Design, and manufacturing teams.
• Supporting product problem-solving in collaboration with manufacturing, quality, marketing, and application teams within a fast-paced automotive environment.
• Preparing technical management presentations on problems and project statuses.
• Liaising with wafer fabrication and assembly operations in Europe and Asia Pacific to enhance yield and quality.
• Reviewing and defining automotive product datasheets and specifications.
• Defining statistical test methods to optimize yield and reduce defects.

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Physics, Microelectronics, or related fields.
• Product engineering experience with knowledge of Discrete Power MOS semiconductors and Trench MOS technologies.
• Strong project management and technical skills for new product launches.
• Experience with statistical data analytics and yield management software.
• Experience supporting offshore facility transfers (packaging and wafers).
• Familiarity with Automotive AEC Q101 testing and qualification is a plus.
• Knowledge of MOSFET semiconductor ATE testing methods is advantageous.
• Experience working with international teams across Europe, Asia, and the USA.
• Familiarity with 8D and FMEA processes.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
