What you will do

The role of the Manager is to apply strategic consulting expertise in purchasing, supply chain management, business process outsourcing, and technology to advance GEP's capabilities. This manager-level consultant will also oversee the delivery of supply chain consulting services and contribute to the development of new services.

Responsibilities:
  1. Contribute to the development and execution of the global strategy for the procurement consultancy practice.
  2. Own client relationships and satisfaction levels.
  3. Lead team efforts to ensure project and program objectives are achieved.
  4. Develop and coach team members.
  5. Enhance team understanding of client culture.
  6. Identify new business opportunities and support efforts to expand client relationships.
  7. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring positive results.
  8. Develop sourcing strategies and processes aligned with clients’ business goals and policies.
  9. Interface with clients to understand sourcing and procurement requirements.
  10. Develop recommendations that contribute to program objectives such as cost savings, SLAs, and transformation.
  11. Lead sourcing, RFQ events, auctions, supplier management, and negotiations.
  12. Use data sources creatively to develop fact-based recommendations and complex analyses.
  13. Deliver presentations and communicate confidently with clients.
What you should bring
  • Management consulting experience in a consulting firm or a combination of consultancy and industry experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and outstanding client management skills.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills for business problem solving.
  • Excellent presentation skills and potential for business development.
  • Knowledge of business process improvement methodologies such as TQM, Six Sigma, APEX, etc., is a plus.
  • Business fluency in English.
  • Ability to travel 30% of the time.
