Job summary

HSBC Group is seeking a Manager for Private Assets within Fund Services to provide technical accounting oversight across UK private asset classes including real estate, private debt and private equity. The role involves working with multiple fund structures and interacting with external clients and audit firms.

You will design robust operating models, embed processes within structures, and oversee BAU activities while staying compliant with regulatory standards and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Part of a fully qualified accountant with thorough expertise in technical accounting.
• Experience dealing directly with external clients and third parties.
• Fund Administration or Private Assets experience would be advantageous
• Knowledge of Horizon or Yardi systems desirable
• Highly organised with clear written and verbal communication
• Strong client-facing approach with awareness of Fund Administration risks

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise to accounting requirements across asset classes and fund jurisdictions.
• Assist with the impact of new technology on operational mode.
• Develop and maintain relationships with client contacts and audit firms.
• Continually reassess operational risks considering market, legal, and regulatory changes.
• Group accounting consolidations.
• Production of financial statements under IFRS and FRS standards
