Job summary

Homes England, launching the National Housing Bank, seeks an experienced investment professional to support debt portfolio management and client relationships. The role focuses on delivering housing projects, risk monitoring and data-driven reporting in a hybrid Leeds/Newcastle setting.

You will collaborate with the Portfolio Manager to ensure procurement, compliance and performance optimisation across transactions, while contributing to policy improvements and process enhancements.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification in Banking, Finance or a related field.
• Proficient understanding of cashflow analysis and financial modelling.
• Understanding of deal execution documents (e.g. Shareholder Agreements, Loan Agreements).
• Experience in risk and client management across real estate lending portfolios, with development finance experience preferable.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of housing starts, completions, unlocking of land and budgeted spend.
• Prepare credit submissions and instruct legal documentation to maintain compliance.
• Maintain oversight of portfolio performance and provide assurance through data reporting.
• Monitor and manage risk profiles across transactions and coordinate with Risk and Distressed Investments.
• Analyse portfolio metrics to draft reports and recommendations and contribute to policy reviews.
