Job Summary:

The Manager of Population Health Advisory plays a dual role as both a strategic client advisor and a team leader. This client-facing position manages a portfolio of clients while also overseeing a team of Population Health Advisors to ensure the delivery of impactful, data-driven population health and value-based care strategies. The Manager is responsible for analyzing clinical and claims data, identifying key trends in cost, utilization, and quality, and helping clients translate insights into operational improvements. In addition to managing their own client relationships, the Manager provides mentorship, performance oversight, and strategic direction to the Advisory team. The role also requires close collaboration with internal departments—including product, sales, and marketing—to ensure alignment, share client feedback, and support company-wide success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of client accounts, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner in population health and value-based care initiatives.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Population Health Advisors, providing oversight, guidance, and support to ensure high-quality client delivery.
  • Analyze clinical and claims data to identify trends, uncover opportunities for improvement, and support clients in implementing actionable, outcomes-driven strategies.
  • Oversee the operationalization of application workflows for clients, aligning with performance goals and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams—including product, marketing, and sales—to align on client goals, share feedback, and support solution development.
  • Monitor team performance metrics and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and client outcomes.
  • Support internal resource planning, onboarding, and professional development efforts for the advisory team.
  • Represent the Advisory Services department in client meetings, strategic planning sessions, and executive-level presentations as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in public health, healthcare administration, analytics, or a related field required
  • 5+ years of experience in population health, healthcare consulting, or value-based care, with at least 2 years in a leadership or team management role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in value-based care models, including ACOs, risk-based contracts, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills with proven experience working with clinical and claims data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust-based relationships with clients and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams, with a focus on coaching, mentorship, and performance management.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
  • Proficiency in population health analytics platforms and data visualization tools .
