Job summary

Rolls-Royce plc is seeking a Plant Delivery Mobilisation Manager to coordinate and deliver mobilisation and readiness activities for a defined Sub-Area within the Plant Delivery organisation. Hybrid working from Derby, Manchester or Warrington with regular supplier travel and some international travel is expected.

The role requires experience in regulated or safety-critical environments and expertise in mobilisation, industrialisation and new product introduction within a complex engineering

Qualifications

• Mobilisation, industrialisation, operations, programme delivery, operational readiness and/or new product introduction activities in a complex engineering environment.
• Ability to coordinate complex work schedules, risks and dependencies to meet delivery objectives.
• Experience applying established governance frameworks and delivery methodologies while driving continuous improvements.

Responsibilities

• Establish mobilisation processes and readiness activities for the defined area.
• Ensure governance requirements and delivery methodologies are embedded and followed.
• Create and own detailed delivery plans, actions, risks and readiness metrics.
• Coordinate activities across engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain and operations teams.
• Identify, track and manage risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies.

Specifically this will involve:* Establishing and delivering mobilisation processes and readiness activities for your area* Ensuring that governance requirements and delivery methodologies are effectively implemented, embedded, followed and improved* Creating and owning detailed delivery plans, actions, risks and readiness metrics.* Co-ordinating activities across engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain and operations teams* Proactively identifying, tracking and managing tisks, issues, assumptions and dependenciesWe seek an thorough, proactive and resilient professional who will have had exposure in regulated or safety‐critical environments (as you would expect nuclear \"know-how\" will be of of great interest to us, whilst those from defence, aerospace and energy sectors may all have transferable capability). Hybrid working is standard, with regular supplier travel required. Some international travel may also be required depending on supplier activity.
