Job Description:

The Deal Execution team is part of KPMG’s Strategy Group, delivering value through innovative thinking, industry insights, and rigorous execution. We are a diverse team of over 105 practitioners, collaborating across KPMG’s Advisory capabilities to serve clients through various stages of business transactions and transformations.

Our People in M&A Centre of Excellence focus on all aspects of the employee journey in M&A and transformational change outside of deals. We handle strategy development, organizational design, synergy analysis, employee experience, culture, transfer, and designing effective solutions to maximize client value and ensure smooth transitions.

The Manager role is crucial for project leadership and delivery, working closely with senior leaders to develop skills in deals, people, OD, strategy, and HR. The role involves leading projects, supporting clients, and leveraging consulting skills for transformational change.

Your responsibilities include:

  1. Leading small-to-medium engagements and supporting clients daily.
  2. Conducting Due Diligence, analyzing deal reports, assessing people-related issues, and providing insights.
  3. Advising on integration, separation, and optimization initiatives, including developing target operating models and supporting implementation.
  4. Supporting transformational change projects, designing roadmaps, managing risks, and measuring success.
  5. Interacting with stakeholders, coaching team members, and supporting business development activities.

Leadership & Management:

  • Mentoring junior team members.
  • Challenging and innovating on engagements.
  • Contributing to proposals and market initiatives.

Stakeholder Interaction & Challenges:

  • Advising on complex deals and acting as Engagement Manager.
  • Managing client expectations and stakeholder relationships.
  • Ensuring quality and identifying opportunities for technology use.

The Person:

  • Experience in HR, OD, or Strategy, preferably in M&A.
  • Knowledge of HR functions, TUPE, organizational design, and employee engagement.
  • Leadership in client meetings, team management, and business development.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and strategic skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree; professional qualifications are a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, problem-solving, and market understanding.
