About the People in M&A Centre of Excellence

We handle all aspects of the employee journey in M&A, leveraging our experience to enact transformational change outside of deals. Our work includes early-stage strategy development, organisational design for carve-outs, synergy analysis, employee experience, corporate culture, employee transfer, and developing transformational solutions to help organizations achieve their ambitions. We aim to help clients execute transactions and transformational change efficiently, maximizing value and ensuring smooth people transitions.

What will you be doing?
  • Leading projects and working closely with senior team members to build your deal knowledge and develop your skills in people, OD, strategy, and HR.
  • Applying your change and consulting skills to deliver top-tier transformational change for clients beyond deals.
  • Contributing to and reviewing deal and transaction reports from a people perspective.
  • Advising on people, strategy, and organizational design aspects of integration, separation, and optimization initiatives, including developing target operating models, understanding the people landscape, defining transitional service agreements, and supporting implementation.
  • Supporting transformational change projects to help clients achieve their objectives.
  • Mentoring, coaching, and developing junior team members as a role model.
  • Acting as a key contact for clients, advising on complex deals, and demonstrating credibility in delivery.
What will you need to do it?
  • A good understanding of or background in HR, OD, or Strategy, ideally in an M&A environment.
  • Experience working on M&A projects and understanding of consultation processes.
  • Specialization in areas like People strategy, TUPE, HR functions, processes, technology, Union engagement, organizational design, employee engagement, talent analysis, recruitment, and retention.
  • Ability to manage small to medium-sized teams or significant parts of complex projects.
