Job Summary

The Operational Management - Manager will play a critical role in the delivery of operational support to the Development team through the monitoring of the Development annual financial and output targets, 5-year Annual Business Plan, and responding to adhoc commissions. You will be joining our small but experienced team of 6 people, who are committed to working collaboratively to make a positive change in how we deliver operational support.

This is an excellent opportunity to join the Development Services, Delivery and Enabling Services Team in a fast growing, national organisation with real social purpose. Working with key stakeholders and a professional team you will ensure efficient, consistent, and effective monitoring of financial and key performance indicators. The role will focus on a range of factors contributing to Development-related delivery including driving data integrity, developing processes, presenting data through Power BI and becoming a competent source of guidance and advice.

The role will be in the Development Services team which is dedicated to delivering first-class customer service, taking innovative and creative approaches to problem solving and helping to create new processes and improve data integrity. Person specification

  • Strong data analytics skills including Excel and Power BI and comfortable working with and the visualisation of large datasets (E)
  • The ability to work at speed and analytically through a range of different tasks and priorities to deliver on competing tasks with a logical approach to problem solving (E).
  • Be someone who focuses on achieving results and communicating them clearly and concisely (E)
  • Experience in the provision of operational delivery or programme management service activity in a similar public sector role (D)
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience in delivering similar services for government housing programmes (D)
  • Degree level qualification or equivalent experience, with relevant professional qualification, such as PRINCE2, MSP or P3O (D)
