Manager, OneStream Remote Consulting

Location: Hybrid, Manchester, UK
Employment Type: Full-Time

Summary
We’re seeking a strong leader to manage one of our Remote Consulting teams. The Remote Consulting team is a group of individuals that support our customers and partners, both during the implementation phase and for the post-implementation experience. In addition to managing the day-to-day activities and staffing of your team contributors, as Manager, Remote Consulting, you will serve as a point of guidance for the team as they resolve customer issues, navigate consulting projects, and require input on processes. In this role you’ll be heavily collaborating with other members of the Remote Consulting management team to execute on strategic goals and initiatives for the department.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

1. Manage Remote Consulting team members by developing skillsets, monitoring individual growth, and performing semi-annual reviews.
2. Provide team members with the opportunity to meet one-to-one and conduct weekly team meetings.
3. Review cases in the queue and provide guidance on process and case etiquette when needed.
4. Review and approve SOW’s.
5. Review timesheet reporting for correctness and coach towards team utilization targets.
6. Meet with customers and partners to pitch and discuss consulting services and SOW contracts.
7. Staff medium/large sized consulting projects with your individual contributors.
8. Utilize team reporting metrics and processes to help meet department goals and objectives.
9. Develop and update team processes, policies, and documentation.
10. Create and update learning materials (i.e. KB articles, lunch & learns, training paths, onboarding, etc.)
11. Oversee strategic or large consulting projects.
12. Provide project status updates to Remote Consulting leadership.
13. Action escalations that require manager input.

Required Education and Experience

1. Four-year college degree in fields such as (but not limited to) Accounting, Business, Finance, Information Systems, CIS, or equivalent work experience.
2. 5+ years experience in CPM/EPM support/Implementation environment, with 2+ years in a Team Lead/Supervisory capacity.

Preferred Education and Experience

1. OneStream Software Consulting experience would be desirable.
2. Hands-on experience with project management and budgeting.
3. 2-5 years of experience consulting for CPM/EPM software implementations.
4. A professional accounting designation (e.g. CPA, CMA, CGA, CA), advanced degrees (MBA, MFA), and/or other professional designations or certifications (applicable to accounting/finance and information technology).
5. Prior experience with any of the following products is a plus:

• OneStream
• SAP Outlooksoft BPC
• SAP BOFC (Cartesis)
• HFM (Hyperion Financial Management)
• FDM (Financial Data Quality Management) or UpStream
• Hyperion Planning
• Hyperion Essbase
• IBM Cognos
• SQL
• Or other EPM solutions.

14. Outstanding MS Office skills, specifically with Excel.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Will manage a team of Remote Consultants.

Travel

Regular travel is not expected for this position; however, travel may arise as necessary.
