About the Role

At Emerson, we foster a culture of innovation and collaboration. As a Manager of Projects, you will lead a team of skilled Project Managers, influencing project financials, quality, and customer satisfaction. You will play a key role in planning and financial forecasting for our business.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop business plans and budgets, creating effective strategies for project execution.
  2. Address complex issues related to project delivery and customer expectations.
  3. Plan, delegate, and oversee multiple projects within margin targets.
  4. Ensure revenue and gross profit align with budgets.
  5. Coordinate with local financial and regional PMO functions.
Business Focus

You will oversee all aspects of project performance, providing accurate forecasts and analyzing financial data to meet revenue and margin targets. Building strong customer relationships and contributing to sales efforts will also be key.

Leadership & Change Management

Drive process improvements, mentor direct reports, and support 8-12 Project Managers. Your understanding of cost-efficient project execution will be vital for achieving business goals.

Candidate Profile

Effective communication and collaboration skills are essential, especially in customer negotiations. You will identify skill gaps within the team to meet future needs, fostering a supportive environment. You may also serve as a main contact for key business projects.

Minimum Requirements
  • A degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in project management and leadership roles.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects and handle customer interactions.
Preferred Qualifications

Additional education in business administration, operations, or project management is advantageous.
