Job summary

mdgroup is seeking an experienced Manager of Clinical Services to lead our global Clinical Management team and help ensure the successful delivery of high-quality, patient-focused clinical trial services. This remote role is based in the United Kingdom.

You will mentor clinical managers, oversee trial service delivery to meet timelines and budgets, provide operational guidance, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring ICH-GCP compliance and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• RN with current NMC registration.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in clinical trial operations or clinical trial service delivery.
• Minimum 3 years' experience leading and developing clinical or clinical operations teams.
• Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP, clinical trial protocols, regulatory requirements, and quality management.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop our global team of Clinical Managers, fostering collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
• Oversee clinical trial service delivery, ensuring projects meet agreed timelines, budgets, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide operational and clinical guidance, resolving complex project challenges and escalations.
• Drive continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and compliance with ICH-GCP and applicable regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on resource planning, project feasibility, and business development initiatives.
• Support quality management activities, including audit readiness, risk management, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• Registered Nurse (RN) qualification and current NMC registration are required.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in clinical trial operations or clinical trial service delivery.
• Minimum 3 years' experience leading and developing clinical or clinical operations teams.
• Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP, clinical trial protocols, regulatory requirements, and quality management.
• Experience with decentralised clinical trials and in-home clinical services.
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading geographically dispersed teams.
• Flexibility to provide occasional out-of-hours support, including weekends and public holidays, when required.
