Qualifications

  • MBA preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in people management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Strategy and Operations associates/leads.
  • Drive key decisions and escalations, and operationalize strategic initiatives.
  • Align global and regional strategies into operating cadences for News Partnerships.
  • Act as a thought partner on regulatory and commercial topics.
  • Coordinate with Google teams to further EMEA News Partnership objectives.

News Partnerships (NP) manages partnerships for Google's News products and programs. The EMEA Strategy and Operations team works with the News Partnerships EMEA leadership team to develop partnership strategies, build and align operating priorities, and drive global execution.

In this role, you will lead a team of strategy and operations leads and own Chief of Staff functions for the EMEA News Partnerships. You will be accountable for delivering operational excellence on key processes across News Partnership in EMEA and the delivery of strategic insights across a broad array of commercial and regulatory partnerships topics.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of Strategy and Operations associates/leads.
  • Triage and drive key decisions and escalations, and drive the operationalization of strategic initiatives.
  • Work with the team to align global and regional strategies, and translate them into operating cadences and key processes for News Partnerships (e.g., OKRs, QBRs).
  • Drive strategy by being a thought partner on regulatory and commercial topics and initiatives, as well as organizational health and design topics.
  • Coordinate with a variety of Google teams (e.g., Product, gTech, Finance, Legal, and other partnerships teams) to further EMEA news Partnership Strategic objectives.
