Member firms offer audit, tax, and advisory services to privately owned companies, publicly listed companies, public sector, and not-for-profit organizations, both domestically and internationally.

Grant Thornton International Ltd (GTIL) is the umbrella legal entity for the Grant Thornton global network of member firms. GTIL sets strategic direction, convenes member firms, connects global communities, and protects the brand and reputation of the network. GTIL and the member firms aim to improve sustainability of their operations and make a positive impact aligned with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Our 2025 strategy aims to make us ‘the most valued network in the profession’.

This role is key in enhancing the network’s strategic capabilities and quality of service delivery, focusing on integrating sustainability into policies, training, and tools.

Main Responsibilities

Assist the methodology and learning team with:

  • Development of sustainability methodology for assurance engagements
  • Creation of resources like playbooks on CSRD, GHG, and ISSB for effective delivery
  • Developing sustainability learning resources, programs, quick reference guides, and practice aids

Location

Preferably within the UK/Europe or the Americas region.

Person Specification

  • Professional designation (CPA, CA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) with direct assurance experience
  • Experienced manager or senior manager in assurance
  • Experience in sustainability engagements or supporting such engagements in a national office role
  • Self-starter capable of managing projects independently
  • Strong communication and business writing skills
  • Proactive and adaptable
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and team collaboration ability
  • Good organization and time management skills, capable of managing multiple projects
  • Experience working virtually across multiple time zones
  • Background in a global professional services environment with international stakeholders

  • Experience in developing or delivering training

Joining Grant Thornton International offers many benefits, including working with a diverse global team in a virtual setting. We value an inclusive culture and support work-life balance, including flexible leave policies. We believe work is defined by what we do, not where we do it, and we provide support and equipment for effective remote work, with access to collaborative spaces if preferred.
