Overview

The Manager, Mergers and Acquisitions is part of a team leading all M&A and investment activity globally. The role involves evaluating and executing acquisitions and investments to support Mastercard’s growth, based in London, UK.

Responsibilities include:

  • Research industry to identify opportunities across geographies
  • Assess strategic fit of M&A targets with global business units
  • Support all phases of acquisition process: identification, valuation, due diligence, integration planning
  • Create business cases and valuation models
  • Coordinate deal execution resources
  • Prepare presentations and approvals for senior management and Board
  • Assist senior professionals in deal execution

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree; MBA preferred
  • Experience in M&A, Investment Banking, Corporate Development, or Transaction Advisory
  • Skills in financial modeling, accounting, valuation (DCF, NPV, IRR)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of payments, technology, or financial services is a plus
