Join Our Team as a Manufacturing Manager at Johnson Electric

Location: Ancaster, ON (onsite)

Overview: As our next Manufacturing Manager, you will lead the shop floor operations and ensure a safe, efficient, and high-quality production environment. You’ll supervise technical teams, coordinate resources, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to meet customer expectations in quality, speed, and cost.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Oversee daily operations on the shop floor
  • Supervise and coach technical employees to meet quality and service goals
  • Serve as process leader, defining and improving work standards
  • Coordinate inventory and purchasing activities
  • Communicate effectively across teams to align goals and resolve issues
  • Partner with Program Managers to set targets for quality, speed, and cost
  • Ensure compliance with engineering procedures and quality standards
  • Monitor training needs and coordinate development programs
  • Implement and maintain build standards
  • Approve employee time cards
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure adherence to ISO 45001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and company policies
  • Perform other related duties as required
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • Strong understanding of automated solutions and assembly processes
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to communicate technical concepts
  • Proven team management and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities
  • Proficiency in FMEA and GD&T
  • Knowledge of automotive systems and quality standards (IATF 16949/ISO 9001)
  • High integrity, dependability, and results-driven mindset
