Job summary

Rockfish Exmouth is seeking an Assistant Manager in Training to support the General Manager in creating an engaging, hospitality-focused environment by coaching and leading the team. You will help drive guest satisfaction and uphold Rockfish standards in a busy coastal setting.

You will train under a structured program, develop leadership and service skills, and contribute to a culture of care, community and connection. overtime and tips are included as part of earnings.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or supervising in a restaurant setting.
• Strong customer service mindset and people skills.
• Ability to train and motivate a team to deliver exceptional service.

Description

Assistant Manager in Training– Rockfish Our latest restaurant in Exmouth is located next to the town slipway overlooking the beautiful Exe estuary. The tide rips past the front of the dining room providing the perfect setting to enjoy some great seafood. Our chefs prepare fresh mussels from the estuary and other local fish which are prepared simply by either crisp frying, grilling or cooking over charcoal. On colder days the restaurant and deck are heated by a log burner and make the atmosphere warm and cosy as the tide continues to run past.

Up to £16 per hour OTE which includes generous tips and gratuities

The Role

As Managerin Training, you will support the General Manager in creating a restaurantenvironment where the team is inspired to care about what they do through motivating,training and leading by example all the way.

You will coach your team tofulfil their full potential ensuring you and your team embrace our core values,‘Care, Community and Connection’.

As a new Rockfish Manager inTraining, you will be supported by a structured training plan, and wecontinuously develop your skills for a fulfilling career with us.

Will be required to supervise the serving of alcohol.

You will be required to have at least oneyears’ experience as a Server or at Supervisor level in a similar restaurant environment.

You will have a flexibleapproach to working hours, able to support the business when it’s at itsbusiest.
