A day in the life
Every day is different. In addition to managing day to day operations, you’ll work both independently and collaboratively on operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives, which may be at different stages of the project lifecycle, from development to delivery. You might spend your morning gathering data and feedback to assess how the operations is performing, then spend your afternoon discussing a resourcing plan for a continuous improvement initiative. You will collaborate with your team and partner team to track progress, and share updates with key stakeholders. Amazon is a data-driven business, so no matter what are you working on, part of your role will involve gathering insights to make decisions.

And we use the expertise of our people to get packages to their destination – quickly, conveniently and sustainably. The ROC team (Relay Operations Centre) is a world-class Command and Control Center capable of detecting and solving disruptions to the Amazon end-to-end supply chain before they ever impact our customers, shippers, carriers, drivers or our cost structure. More specifically with ROC, ROCaaS (ROC as a Service) is an organizational structure and service model offered to help non-ROC teams launch new programs and initiatives. ROCaaS provides the proximity to transportation business and the necessary organizational structure to enable these teams to "lift off" their new efforts.
