Summary of Role Purpose:

In the Finance Transformation team, we improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the finance function and generate real insights to help deliver value to the business. Our mission is to help clients create and evolve a digitally enabled, human-centric, and integrated finance function.

Our Financial Transformation practice is a priority for strategic growth, working with public sector clients to deliver value-adding change through technology implementations, efficiency improvements, and maturity development.

We are a team of problem solvers with consulting and industry experience, working with technology professionals to deliver KPMG Powered Enterprise through a standardised delivery model.

Description of the role:

We seek a highly motivated Manager to join our Infrastructure, Government & Healthcare Finance Transformation team. You will manage project teams and deliver quality client engagements.

Applicants should have experience in the public or private sector, with strong knowledge of finance processes and technology, and the ability to:

• Manage small to medium transformation programmes
• Oversee client reports and quality assurance
• Identify and manage risks and budgets
• Develop client relationships and expand engagements
• Build internal and external relationships for business development
• Supervise and coach peers and juniors
• Contribute to talent development and methodology enhancement

Leadership & Management:

• Manage engagement teams and organize work packages
• Contribute to training and knowledge sharing
• Mentor colleagues and support career progression
• Support business development activities

Impact, Risk, Accountability & Governance:

• Support risk management and operational responsibilities

The Person:

Candidates should have:

• 6+ years experience in finance functions or consulting
• Proven project management skills
• Knowledge of finance processes and ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, WorkDay)
• Experience in public/private sectors, especially in sectors like Government, Healthcare, Education, Transport, Defence

Core skills include management experience, strong communication, and finance change implementation knowledge. Desirable skills include consulting experience, enterprise software deployment, and team management.

The candidate should value continuous development, be a team player, and flexible to travel.
