Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal seeks a Manager in the UK Transaction Advisory Group, to work across the deal life cycle on both buy-side and sell-side engagements. London, Birmingham and Manchester will be part of the client footprint, with cross-border and cross-geography collaboration.

You will join a team delivering premium due diligence services, leveraging our deep operational and industry expertise to unlock value for our clients. English fluency is essential; additional languages are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in Transaction Services (financial due diligence) at a Big 4 firm is essential.
• A strong academic record and professional qualifications are helpful.
• Fluent business-level English is essential; additional European languages desirable.

Responsibilities

• Work across the entire deal life cycle in a hands-on role, including both buy-side and sell-side work.
• Deliver international projects for premium clients worldwide.
• Work with large-cap and mid-cap PE houses, corporate clients and financial institutions providing broad industry & client exposure.
• Contribute to and lead projects & work streams reporting directly to the Managing Directors or Senior Directors.

How you will contribute

We are growing and continue to expand our established UK teams in London, Birmingham & Manchester we are looking to hire Managers with experience in Transactions Advisory from a Big 4. As part of our highly skilled team, the successful individual will;

• Work across the entire deal life cycle in a hands-on role, including both buy-side and sell-side work

• Work with a variety of large-cap and mid-cap PE houses, corporate clients and financial institutions providing broad industry & client exposure
• Contribute to & lead projects & work streams reporting directly to the Managing Directors or Senior Directors
• Work as part of multi-disciplinary teams in the UK and across geographies and build broad international deal experience
• Gain exposure to senior members of the team in the UK and internationally gaining 'on the job learning & development in addition to established formal training programmes
• Use the commercial aspects of your financial analysis skills, in addition to analysing the key drivers and valuation considerations that drive a transaction
• Work alongside A&M's operational and commercial professionals in combined project teams enhancing your understanding of the broader due diligence & wider deal process
