Job Description:

Our client, a global top-10 Sovereign Wealth Fund, is looking to hire a Manager for their Global Retail & Consumer Investments team in Doha.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage the investment portfolio by overseeing specific companies and investments.
• Originate and evaluate new investment opportunities, and assist in the execution of both private and negotiated public transactions.
• Post-acquisition, ensure appropriate reporting, performance monitoring, risk assessment, and provide investment analysis and recommendations.
• Build organizational expertise in relevant industry sub-sectors through contributing expertise and external networks.
• Perform financial modeling, valuations, prepare internal materials for investment processes, manage portfolio, and review portfolio performance quarterly.

Requirements:

• Experience from a top-tier financial institution, currently working in Investment Banking, M&A, or Private Equity.
• Strong experience in Retail & Consumer sectors, with a focus on Consumer Technology considered a plus.
• Previous US/European deal exposure is advantageous.
• Strong modeling skills; an advanced degree or CFA qualification is a plus.
