Our client has engaged Hays to find a Financial Planning and Analysis Accountant to join their team after a restructuring of the finance team. Currently, the company is experiencing significant growth across the group, and the CFO aims to enhance support to operational managers. This role provides an opportunity to engage directly with decision-makers and contribute to the company's growth.

Your new role

As the FP&A Accountant, you will act as a trusted advisor to the operational business. Your responsibilities include building relationships with senior stakeholders, delivering management accounts, planning, and analysis to support decision-making, and being an integral part of the company's growth.

  • Management accounting and monthly reporting, including delivering reporting packs for the Senior Management Team and conducting Business Reviews.
  • Business partnering across various teams, providing credible financial information, and participating in decision-making processes.
What you'll need to succeed

You should be a qualified accountant with some post-qualification experience, ideally involving commercial financial information. You must demonstrate excellent numerical and analytical skills, provide sound technical accounting advice, and be a trusted advisor. Strong communication skills are essential.
