Job description

Role Overview: Interpath is seeking an experienced professional to enhance its growing financial modelling capabilities. The role involves building models, reviewing existing models, and leveraging data analytics to support a diverse range of client needs. This position is part of our Data & Technology group, which combines data analytics, modelling, and tech-related consulting to deliver bespoke solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and support high-quality, flexible modelling solutions including cost, financial forecast, scenario, transaction, debt, and project finance models.
  2. Automate finance and operational processes through tactical solutions.
  3. Create data models to facilitate analytics and insights.
  4. Utilize visualization and analytical software such as Power BI, QlikView, or Tableau to drive data-driven insights for client decision-making.
  5. Support various teams within Interpath to exploit modelling and data capabilities.
  6. Manage projects, clients, and stakeholder relationships effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Recognized finance or accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, CFA, or similar).
  • Degree in a numerate subject such as Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics (First-class or Upper Second-class preferred).
  • Experience in Business Intelligence/Data Analytics space.
  • Proficiency in Excel and financial modelling.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, QlikView, or Tableau.
  • Strong knowledge of statistical methodologies and data analysis techniques.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to support multiple projects and build strong cross-team relationships.
  • Self-sufficient in technical research and tool adoption.
