Job description

Our client is seeking a Manager, FATCA and AEOI Reporting and Controls to ensure that the department adheres to FATCA (Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act) and AEOI (Automatic Exchange of Information) regulatory requirements. The role involves delivering timely and accurate reporting for clients under administration and maintaining strong communication with tax authorities, clients, and team members across the network.

Job Duties:

  • Develop and maintain internal procedures and checklists aligned with Tax Authority, FATCA, and CRS (Common Reporting Standard) policies.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for FATCA & AEOI, advising the department, clients, and investors.
  • Submit accurate and timely FATCA & AEOI reporting to various tax authorities.
  • Review self-certificates at both entity and investor levels, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Maintain all required data within internal systems for accurate and timely reporting.
  • Suggest and implement improvements to procedures and systems to enhance automation and workflow.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams such as Administration, KYC, Investor Relations, and Client Onboarding.
  • Assist the Product team with FATCA/AEOI onboarding requirements for new clients.
  • Provide timely support for audit requests, ensuring accurate information is supplied.
  • Provide clients with detailed annual reports at entity and investor levels, covering classifications and reportable information.
  • Assist teams with client, investment manager, and tax authority queries related to FATCA & AEOI.
  • Ensure the highest level of service delivery, meeting client service level agreements.
  • Report updates, risks, and issues to the line manager promptly.
  • Assist with Requests for Proposal (RFP) or Requests for Information (RFI) concerning FATCA & AEOI requirements.

Job Requirements:

  • Practical experience in FATCA & AEOI regulations and reporting.
  • Ability to plan and articulate process enhancements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Intermediate or Advanced level).
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of FATCA and AEOI regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong time management, planning, and prioritisation skills.
  • Effective communicator and team player.
  • Results-driven with the ability to share knowledge and lead change initiatives.
