At KPMG, our values define who we are and the way we do business. As a leading professional services firm, we recognize that our strength and capability come from our people—diverse perspectives, experiences, and backgrounds. Our inclusive leadership strategy and diversity targets reflect our commitment to change. Join us in making a difference.

The Financial Services (FS) Reward practice at KPMG specializes in providing reward solutions to UK and non-UK FS clients. Sitting within the wider UK Reward practice, which has experienced rapid growth, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to a thriving business area supported by leadership to build on its success and expand further.

We seek talented Reward specialists eager to be part of this exciting journey. Responsibilities include business development activities such as client proposals, presentations, and technical writing. We value personalities that enjoy challenges and are motivated to grow with us. We offer unparalleled opportunities for learning and development.

What will you be doing?
  • Managing and delivering client projects related to Reward workflows, including:
  • Collaborating with senior leaders on reward strategies, shareholder consultations, corporate governance, pay regulation, ESG regulation, and practices.
  • Assisting in drafting Director's Remuneration Reports.
  • Designing and reviewing incentive plans to ensure they remain effective.
  • Advising on performance metrics, including ESG measures.
  • Assessing the impact of corporate transactions on compensation and benefits plans.
  • Developing plans for the wider workforce, including share purchase, recognition, wellbeing, and benefits programs.
  • Conducting pay and benefits benchmarking.
  • Leading client engagements of moderate complexity independently, with support from senior team members.
  • Managing the commercial aspects of engagements to meet quality and profitability targets.
  • Building and maintaining client relationships, discussing people issues, and identifying cross-service opportunities.
  • Collaborating with other teams to provide integrated advice.
  • Delegating and reviewing work of junior team members from technical and commercial perspectives.
  • Training and developing junior staff.
  • Innovating solutions and bringing new opportunities to market.
  • Supporting the team's knowledge management and technical issues.
What will you need to do it?
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, ideally in economics, finance, mathematics, business, or statistics, though not essential.
  • Experience in Executive Compensation.
  • Strong technical, client service, and business development skills demonstrated through relevant work experience.
  • Preferably experience advising Financial Services firms on Reward or working with Remuneration Committees, either as an external consultant or in-house.
