Job Description:
The Manager Events, Communication and Planning PV will play a role in creating and implementing the strategy for :
- Enhancing engagement and collaboration within GSPV employees.
- Enhancing engagement between GSPV and other Enterprise-wide functions.
- Ensuring the key activities promoting engagement and collaboration align with our client's broader group and R&D strategy.
In this role, you will be part of our FSPx team and work directly with one of our renowned key sponsors!
Main Responsibilities:
- Facilitate communication of project updates/milestones and departmental updates within GSPV.
- Develop and maintain tools (templates, guidance) to facilitate timely, effective, and targeted communication within GSPV and from GSPV Leadership and the SVP, Head of GSPV to internal and external stakeholders.
- Plan and implement activities to improve recognition and engagement of GSPV employees (e.g., enhancing use of CTP awards, verbal/written recognition, acknowledgment at townhalls).
- Plan and implement activities to improve engagement within GSPV employees (e.g., speed networking, townhalls, enhanced opportunities for N-3 and beyond to interact with leadership, offsite meetings).
- Support planning and delivery of our client's global event promoting patient safety (e.g., Patient Safety Week).
- Explore and implement opportunities to raise GSPV's profile through social media (e.g., LinkedIn) and digital tools for internal and external communication enhancement.
- Assist the Head of GSPV in planning and delivering communication plans for all GSPV change management activities (e.g., automation, right sizing, integrations).
- Organize team-building initiatives such as global offsite meetings and engagement activities.
Job Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Life Sciences, Communication, Marketing, Public Relations, or related fields.
- 10+ years in Communication, Marketing, Event Management, or Public Relations, preferably within healthcare or pharmaceutical industries.
- Experience working for global companies with an understanding of cultural sensitivities.
- Proven track record of improving engagement and collaboration in multinational companies.
- Experience in executing and creating effective communication from leadership to employees.
- Ability to work with organizational leadership and lead global initiatives.
- Experience leading global events, both face-to-face and virtual.
- Developed and implemented new processes and initiatives on a global scale.
- Expertise in leveraging social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn) for strategic content and external branding, as well as creating internal communications to enhance organizational alignment and employee engagement.
